Order information and privacy
This page explains how the order form and private order receipt use your information.
Google address suggestions
When Google suggestions are enabled, opening the delivery form loads Google's browser software. Text you enter in the address search is sent to Google to find matching US addresses. Choosing a suggestion requests its address components from Google. Google may receive browser and network information through those requests.
You can use the street, apartment/unit, city, state and ZIP fields without using the search. This address-search feature does not send edits in those manual fields to Google. Suggestions do not verify whether J2 delivers to an address.
Google's handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. See also the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
Your pickup order
Placing a pickup order sends your contact details and order contents to J2, where approved staff can see them and manage your order. Pickup does not ask for your delivery address or use Google address suggestions.
Your browser keeps an unfinished submission so you can retry it without creating a duplicate, and a private receipt reference for checking your order. Keep access to this browser private on shared devices. Clearing browser storage can remove your access to that receipt; it does not cancel an order already received by J2.
Available pickup payment methods are shown during ordering. Keep the order confirmation open or return in the same browser to check whether staff have accepted your order and when it is ready.
Delivery and card payments
Delivery orders include your chosen address and delivery instructions. Square handles card entry and processing. J2 stores payment references and confirmed payment status; it does not store your full card number or CVV. A payment awaiting review must be resolved before trying to pay again.
Optional customer accounts
You can order without an account. If you choose to register, Supabase manages your password and email verification, and J2 sends the confirmation or password-reset email through its email provider. Registration does not enroll you in marketing or grant staff access.
After verification, orders placed with your verified email can be attached to your account. J2 stores your account contact details and any addresses you choose to save. You can add, edit or remove saved addresses. Existing orders keep the address and instructions used when they were placed.
Your browser stores an account session so you can stay signed in. Sign out on shared devices. Browser storage and private guest receipts belong to the current website address and do not automatically transfer to a different domain.
Order and delivery notifications
J2 records confirmed order and delivery updates and which updates you mark as read. Your signed-in inbox shows updates from the last 90 days that your account is allowed to see. Delivery access is checked again when assignments or staff permissions change. These updates are not marketing messages.
Phone alerts depend on the shop's notification setup and your device permissions. The inbox itself does not require notification permission. Guest customers can continue checking their private order receipt without creating an account.
Saved cards
Saving a card is optional and requires your consent. Square stores the card for future payments. J2 keeps its provider reference and display details such as card brand, last four digits and expiration date; it does not store the full card number or CVV. You can remove a saved card from your saved cards.
Native app permissions
When native notifications are configured and you enable them, J2 registers a push token and installation identifier with your signed-in account and session to deliver authorized order updates. Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple notification services deliver these notifications. You can decline notification permission and continue using ordering and the inbox. Notification messages use generic content; sign in to view the details you are allowed to see.
Staff Tap to Pay, when configured, uses Square's native payment software and requests location permission when an approved staff member starts card collection. A precise location permission is needed for that payment feature. Customer delivery address entry does not request this staff payment permission.
Payment software diagnostics
The Android app includes Square's Mobile Payments SDK. Square's software uses BugSnag to report SDK errors with device, app and SDK information, identifiers and diagnostic breadcrumbs. These reports help investigate payment software problems. This diagnostic reporting is separate from your optional J2 order notifications.
Square's handling of payment and diagnostic information is described in the Square Privacy Notice.
Delete your account
You can request permanent deletion from Delete your J2 account in the app or a web browser. Sign in and confirm your current password. Deletion removes your saved profile, addresses and notification registrations, ends staff or driver access, and schedules cleanup of saved Square cards and the linked J2 customer profile at Square. Provider cleanup may remain pending and retry automatically.
The shop retains order, payment and delivery records for existing orders and its business records. Deleting an account does not cancel an order or issue a refund. You can continue ordering as a guest. The last active shop owner must transfer ownership before deleting their account.
